USSSA BASEBALL

     This is our 2008- 2009 Fall and Spring Schedule

1.   Other tournaments will be added as fields become available. Keep checking back as the season progresses.   

2.   If a tournament is cancelled for any reason, USSSA has no financial responsibility other than to refund the entry fee for the cancelled tournament. 

3. All teams participating in USSSA leagues and tournaments must have a team insurance policy. 

4. For the 2009 season, we will not freeze rosters until  March 1st.  All teams that have won tournaments prior to March 1, will receive World Series berths. However, their roster will not be frozen until that time. Players are not frozen until March 1. The only exception to this is players and teams with Elite World Series berths. Teams with a berth may not disband after May 1st. Note that players frozen to a major team can be released, but they must go to another major team. They can not drop down in class to a AAA or AA team.

5. Teams that win a "AAA" Tournament owe a  play-up  tournament at the major level. A team that wins a AA Tournament must play a tournament at the AAA level. The play up should be in the next available tournament that the higher division is offered with the exception of Holiday weekends or NITS.
   
   Effective Labor Day of 2007, USSSA and other associations have adopted a new age cutoff date of April 30th. The age a player is on April 30th , 2009 will determine his league age for the 2009 season.

 For all tournaments in Henderson, AA & AAA may be combined, Major teams will be required to play no lower than AAA in the next higher age division.

The rules posted on this website are for Henderson tournaments only.

For Reno and Carson City please contact the tournament director for all rules governing those events.

ALL TEAMS MUST HAVE ROSTER ON LINE PRIOR TO TOURNAMENT,  IF NOT THERE IS A $50 FEE FOR US TO ENTER THEM.

2009  SEASON OPENER
This is the tournament is when teams move up to the next year's age. For example, if a team just played as a 10U team, they will now register and play as an 11U team. Teams also must create a new roster for the 2009 season
